Leslie Powell, Technical Director, was invited to contribute
to the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards workshop which
was held in San Jose, California, in April 2001. The workshop
was convened to define the technical standards for the next
generation of tools, techniques and development practices. The
continued involvement in this and similar standards bodies will
ensure that ECC is able to provide future-proof solutions.
The company has already 'blueprinted' a world-first business
solution which will take ECC into the global marketplace, providing
major cost savings, improved client relationships and greater
flexibility for operational services.
ECC products will be founded on Mobilising Collective Intelligence,
the next prerequisite for businesses in the new economy.
