On
3 January 2002 the number of people employed at ECC rose to
twenty-nine.
ECC's
recent success in securing an £850,000 contract to create
a 'Knowledge Teamspace' environment for one of Scotland's
leading independent construction companies is testimony to
the company's strength across many spheres of business-value
generation.
ECC
has two offices in the heart of Edinburgh: the Sales, Marketing
and Administration Teams along with the Support Division based
in Melville Street, and the Technical Solutions, Application
Development and Testing Teams located in St Andrew Square.
A
recent appointment was that of Dave Doig from CAP Gemini as
Project Director to strengthen the senior management team.
To
service the increasing demand for capability with new and
emerging technologies, ECC increased its staff by fifty per
cent in 2001, adding mainly technical experts, application
developers and project managers.
In
2002 ECC aims to open new offices in locations across the
UK. in order to facilitate closer working contact with its
growing customer base, improvement of business processes and
information management.
