John was one of the founding directors of ECC. Educated in Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University, he has spent much of his career in systems analysis and business process mapping, using these skills to design the functional requirements of many highly successful software packages over almost twenty years. Before joining ECC he spent five years as Technical Director of Systemcare, a very successful software company in the North of England.

Among John's many achievements was the design and development of a software package commissioned by Printsoft and approved by the Society of Master Printers in the early 1980's, Development Manager for the successful 'GOLD' (Global Online Laboratory Database) using e-business techniques, Executive Manager for the Global 2000 business development and Manager of the successful support team at ECC.

Today John's duties are heavily orientated towards the management of the direction of a fast-growing, dynamic and successful company.

As an avid football fan, John takes pleasure in attending his favourite team's home games. Although a casual golfer, a young family attends to his spare-time activity schedule.
