ECC
has formulated a programme to fast-track to the realisation
of business vision. This weaves together approaches from different
perspectives within the organisation to ensure optimum results.
The ECC Business Transformation Framework has been established
on industry-strength practices and standards and has been
implemented successfully across many industry sectors.
The
Framework Programme (illustrated) has three simple steps:
Educate
|
Most
executives do not have the time to get a detailed understanding
of new business techniques (such as knowledge management)
or what new technologies are providing in terms of business
value. This first phase is designed to provide essential
information in an easily understood way on theory AND
practice. This educational process is a mix of theory
and case-study experiences. It culminates in a half-day
brainstorming where ECC executives work with your team
to develop ways in which your company can gain the maximum
benefit from new business principles and technologies.

Business
Discovery
|
The
business discovery phase will determine how ready your
business is to adapt or adopt, based on the findings
from the education phase. The programme will work from
the top-level business vision and goals and drill down
to determine how the various operational units work
together. The value of individual and collective support
for this vision is then assessed.
ECC will apply the Business Transformation Framework
to determine how well communication, collaboration and
intelligence are applied at individual, team and corporate
level. The most important component, though, is the
integration of all the stakeholders your customers,
suppliers and partners. This process will determine
will make it easier and more rewarding for your customers
to do business with you.

and Implementation Recommendations and Planning

The
third and final phase is to create the business road
map. The important deliverable is the route: how to
get from the current position to the desired position
in the best way. An ECC road map provides a clear and
concise set of milestones. This includes immediate business
improvements, quick wins on new functions or services,
and strategic inflection points when old ways of doing
things are replaced by new models. |
